SS 316L Sheets provide resistance to corrosion in polluted marine atmospheres and has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion in the as-welded condition. In the annealed state, SS 316L sheets are non-magnetic, but as a result of cold working or welding, they can become mildly magnetic and have outstanding ductility and strength at very low temperatures.
