SS 1.4401 / 1.4436 UNS S31600 Sheets, plates,
coils
are molybdenum, chromium and nickel product. These are
designed to offer improved corrosion resistance in moderate
to harsh environments. SS 1.4401 / 1.4436 Sheets, plates,
and coils can be used in the process streams even in the
halide environments. These have excellent resistance ability
to pitting and crevice corrosion. These sheets, plates, and
coils have elevated creep and stress to rupture strength.
Moreover, it has a very good tensile strength in hoisted
temperatures.Stainless steel 1.4401 enables dual
certification because of the low and higher composition of
carbon. Also, these have a nominal amount of carbon content.
UNS S31600 has the ability to resist atmospheric corrosion
in moderate to concentric reducing and oxidizing
environments. After welding stainless steel 1.4401 / 1.4436
UNS S31600 Sheets plate’s coils offer higher resistance to
intergranular corrosion. Also, it has well down temperature
strength and toughness.After annealing it becomes non
magnetic in nature, even in process streams 316 sheets,
plates and coils no get effected. Also, it offers good
service in higher concentric environments even in hot
phosphoric environments. These sheets, plates, and coils can
be used in an organic and inorganic compound containing
environments.
