Duplex alloy is developed for fighting with corrosion issues that are caused by the chloride bearing cooling water in addition to violent chemical process fluids. The super duplex is so because of the mixed microstructure with equal proportions of austenite and ferrite. With the greater level of chromium content, it provides very good resistance to acids, caustic solutions, acid chlorides and other atmosphere in the petrochemical/chemical, paper/pulp industries, replacing other alloys. The chemical composition is based upon the greater content of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum that improves pitting and intergranular corrosion resistance.

Addition of nitrogen is promoting the structural hardening by the interstitial solid solution mechanisms that are raising yielding strength and ultimate strength without toughness impairing. Moreover, the 2-phases microstructure is guaranteeing SCC champion to the conventional SS.

Super duplex 32750/2507 sheets and plates are manufactured using high quality and top-notch materials like molybdenum, nickel, chromium etc. These grade contains 25% chromium, 7% nickel and 4% molybdenum. These super duplex sheets and plates protects from all kind of chemical reactions. These sheets and plates provides greater protection from present chloride environment. These sheets and plates are low alloyed and have excellent properties. Super duplex 32750/2507 sheets are highly used to manufacture cans, bolts, drums, fasteners and other kind of equipment. These sheets and plates have extraordinary properties. Super duplex is made from high quality austenitic steel which is rich in high thermal conductivity and strength. Super duplex also provides excellent resistance to corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress cracking. Super duplex has high thermal conductivity which supports pitting, welding and other heat treatments. Tensile strength of these sheets and plates is very high. Tensile strength is 80000 psi and yield strength is 116000 psi.
