The perforated sheets are prepared by 316L grade of stainless steel. A low carbon version
316L has 16-18%of chromium, 10-12%nickel and 2-3% of molybdenum. This composition
introduces properties such as corrosion-resistant, strength, and durability to the SS
316L perforated sheets. Thus, they are less affected by the localized corrosive attack.
This does not get corrode by reducing acids for example-sulfuric acid. The corrosion
properties of sheets are received due to the addition of molybdenum.

Stainless Steel 316L BA Finish Perforated Sheets
The perforated sheets can be used in applications where machines and equipment work
at elevated temperature. This is due to the above characteristics such as high
tensile and rupture strength. When it comes to resistant properties, 316L offers
excellent resistance against carbide precipitation. This makes it applicable in an
application where the temperature is even higher than the set range. Considerate
resistance is also achieved in 100mg/L chloride water. Pitting and crevice corrosion
is also no issue for the UNS S31603 sheets.
We treat the SS 316L at 1010-1120 degree C for annealing and cool rapidly. No thermal
treatment is done for hardening of metal. Welding is also performed by standard
resistance and fusion methods. No post-weld annealing is done as it is not needed
for this grade of steel. However, oxyacetylene welding method is not preferred for
welding. Moreover, the metal is machined at low and constant speed to prevent
hardening. Machining is easier due to the low carbon content in the stainless steel.

The common hot working techniques are used between the ranges of 1150-1260degree C.
maximum corrosion resistance in UNS S31603 perforated sheets is achieved due to
post-work annealing. It also eliminates internal stresses. Common cold working
techniques such as stamping, shearing, and drawing is performed. This is done to
harden the metal and increase its strength.
Our prepared Stainless Steel 316L Perforated Sheets are
