SS 410 stainless steel sheet is resistant to atmospheric conditions, chemicals, and water. It can be used in the atmosphere that is containing a weak or diluted acetic acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid. The alloy is resistant to the foods containing acids. 410 SS can be used in the de-aerated water or chlorinated water. It works very well in gas and an oil application wherein de-aerated and low hydrogen sulfide exists. The alloy is fully prone to the chloride attack, especially in the oxidizing atmosphere. This alloy is resisting oxidation to temperature 700 Deg C consistently and to 816 Deg C on the intermittent basis.

Material testing-
The testing of BS 410S21 sheets and plates are done as per set product quality
checking norms. The testing done are positive material identification test, flattening
test, flaring test, macro test, micro test, chemical test, mechanical test,
intergranular corrosion test, hardness test.
Documents attached-
The copies of documents attached with the SS 410 sheets/plates are MTC as per EN
10204/3.1b, commercial invoice, NABL approved lab test report, fumigation certificate,
radiography test report, packaging list, heat treatment chart, QAP, etc.
