square edges varying in sizes. It is the cost effective product that is suitable for a
wide range of applications and used in many engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, and
many other industries. Its versatility is the main reason it is highly suitable for
various industrial sectors with higher strength and formability of the alloy. Stainless
Steel 202 is a type of austenitic steel with higher manganese composition that belongs
to 200 series. Due to the presence of higher nitrogen and manganese content, it becomes
completely magnetic in nature even in the lower temperatures after the high amount of
cold working operations. It is designed to use in the cryogenic environments, liquid
hydrogen and even liquid nitrogen.

The high manganese content gives Stainless Steel 202 Flat/Patta/Patti/Flat Bar an excellent wear resistance. It is well adapted for aggressive water environments. It also has good corrosion abrasion resistance better than its standard grades. These are recommended for a medium with limited concentrations in chloride-containing environments.The higher surface hardness is attained in the work hardened condition and it has very good corrosion and abrasion resistance properties. SS grades are well known for their structural stability and thermal stability, so it can be used in high temperature environments. These bars have higher stability in the pressurized zones. It is known for its higher stability when it is encountered in the chemical containing environments such as chlorides, halides, alkalis, and other harsh acids. SS bars perform well in the organic and inorganic compound containing environments. These bars also possess good formability, machinability, and fabricability. These are also machinable with standard machines associated with this grade.

The main type of tests is destructive tests and non-destructive tests. Destructive tests are hardness test, mechanical test, tensile test, hydrostatic test, flattening test, crushing test, buckling test and compression test.
Non-destructive tests are PMI test, pitting corrosion test, intergranular corrosion test, ultrasonic test, radiography and more.Stainless Steel 202 Flat/Patta/Patti/Flat Bar is supplied by us in the form of bundles with individual wrapping. We also attach some reports and certificates for quality assurance. Each packing is supported to add protection from jerks and damages.
